You see things; and you say “Why?” But I dream things that never were; and I say “Why not?” — George Bernard Shaw

rapid weight loss

This is an inspirational quote about weight loss. And it refers to constructing an image of yourself as the person you want to be. George Bernand Shaw sees that people often look into their lives and find things that are not exactly as they wanted it to be. And then they instinctively ask themselves why does this happen. These are the ordinary people.

There’s another category of people. People who live inspired by their dreams. People who live their dream. These are the people who don’t see what they can’t do, but they do what they want to see. Your dreams can never be taken away, neither can hope.

What does this have to do with weight loss?

Well, it’s easy. I’m sure you had or still have moments when you look at yourself in the mirror and you don’t like what you see. Then you become sad. And then you start asking yourself. Why did I gain weight (again)? Maybe it’s time to ask yourself, why can’t I be like I want to be?

The web is full of weight loss diets, but maybe you never took into consideration why it is better to lose some weight.
First, it will make you feel better about your self. When you see what you want to see you feel complete. Your attitude changes into a more positive one and so, your relationships get better and better.

Even if you feel good about yourself as being a little chubby, you should know that overreacting is really bad for your health. On surpassing what we consider to be good looking, which is relative, our state of health is a fact that we must not ignore. In time, the weight you over gain will make a difference. And not a good difference.

Loosing weight is most effective while practicing sports. And sports make us more dynamic, more active; they’re a way of consuming the extra energy we sometimes have in an efficient and proactive way.

Be careful! Starving is not a way of losing weight! You should know that improving your figure is a process that involves a lot of sacrifice and takes time. Starving will only get your body weaker and it won’t make you thinner. And if it will, you’ll pay the price of losing all your energy and vitamins. If you plan on losing weight for a big event, plan it on a longer period so you won’t have to deal with it in a short period of time.

Here are some few tips on how to lose weight and stay healthy:

  1. Eat every day at the same time. Keep this habit so that your body will get used to the hours you have your meals and so you won’t well out of energy.
  2. Eat fruits and vegetables. They are full of vitamins, they’re fresh and natural and they don’t make you gain weight.
  3. Practice sports. Your body needs the exercise to burn fats and the best way to do that is to practice a sport that you like. Try jogging, aerobics, bicycle riding, roller skating… Try them all until you find the one that suits you the best.
  4. Avoid bread, or better yet, give up bread.
  5. Avoid pasta and pizza. They’re tasty, but full of calories.
  6. If you really want to eat high calories foods, do it before 6pm so that your body has the time to digest the food before you go to bed.
  7. Avoid fast foods. You’ll be surprised how many fats these foods have.
  8. Avoid high sugared juices. Drinks that you make at home by squeezing fruits are way natural and better.
  9. Sweets are so hard so give up on but you should consider this option, it will improve your results.
  10. You are more effective if the foods you should avoid can be completely eliminated from your meals. But if you feel you can not do it, don’t give up and eat them occasionally. That is rarely. As a reward. For being so decided on improving your figure.

Like said before, the whole process can get exhausting, but you mustn’t give up. The results will make a difference. A difference you will most certainly feel in yourself.
